Loyal MXS customer Ken Brough is no stranger to building vintage motorcycles. Check out his latest-and-greatest, a 1980 XS650 that stands out from the crowd.
“The man who made most of the mods passed away and it went to his son,” writes Ken, “who sold it to his best friend, who rode it for a couple of years and then sold it to me.”
“I bought it on impulse (I have more than a garage-full of bikes) but fell in love with it once I rode it.”
It has rapidly become my “Garage Queen”. I have put an additional 3k making sure all of the mechanical and safety stuff is top notch.
“When I want to grab a bike for a ride of less than 100 miles, this is always my first choice. I have had police stop me just to compliment that bike and ask about the age. It vibrates like a lot of the twins of this time did, but when you ride it, it will charm you and you “get it”. This is my baby…”
Ken, we “get it” and thanks for choosing Mikes XS!
