It can be tempting to throw in the towel when a pulled spark plug from your vintage Kawasaki comes out drenched in oil, or blue smoke starts fogging the road behind you like a mosquito abatement truck. But don’t worry; you can handle this. That oil is coming from one of two places. It’s either valve blow-by or worn piston rings. KZ900 and KZ1000 piston rings from Z1 are direct OEM replacements.
