SR500 Fuel System
The balance between air flow and fueling in an SR500 is delicate, and it doesn’t take much to upset it. But an SR500 carburetor rebuild kit, properly installed, can get your vintage Yamaha thumper back operating at peak level. To finish restoring your SR500 fuel system, install one of our petcock repair kits. They contain the diaphragm and all the O-rings and gaskets you need to restore the proper vacuum to your SR500 fuel flow. Mikes XS also stocks Mikuni carb tuning manuals and pocket tuners, so you can set your SR500 air-fuel mixture properly.
