The swingarm, aka swinging arm is the most important element of the rear suspension. The swingarm independently attaches the wheel to the frame. The axle that holds the swingarm secure to the frame, pivots up and down vertically, allowing the suspension to absorb any shocks or bumps in the ride. The opposite end of the arm secures the axle that allows the wheel to spin. With all of this motion, it is imperative that the swingarm components like bearings, seals and bushings remain in top notch condition.
