Old regulators/rectifiers can deteriorate with age, causing batteries to be overcharged, undercharged, fuses to blow and much worse – wiring to cook and catch fire. Freshen up your charging system with this new direct replacement unit. We have supplied a general wiring diagram to show the proper installation of this solid-state regulator/rectifier ( 24-2087 ). The wiring may vary depending on your model. This is to be used to identify regulator/rectifier wiring.
