Ryan sent us a picture of his 1981 Yamaha XS650 Special.
Ryan said he built it from a pile of parts his father-in-law had from about 5 old sets of XS650 bikes ranging from 1972 to 1981. After about 18 years in storage, his father-in-law decided that he was never going to get around to working on the project and offered the parts to Ryan.
In 3 1/2 months, Ryan said this emerged from his garage and he has been riding it everyday it’s not snowing for the last 3 years.
